Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by opening the package of crescent roll dough and carefully separating it into 8 triangles. Lay them flat on a clean surface, ensuring they don’t overlap.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling into the center of each triangle. Use a fork or your fingers to gently press the filling down while leaving space around the edges.
- Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket and pinch the edges tightly together to seal. Dab water on the edges if needed for a better seal.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl, mixing until well blended.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and brush a thin layer over each sealed dough bomb.
- Gently roll each butter-brushed bomb in the cinnamon-sugar mixture for an even coating.
- Place the coated bombs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry them at 350°F (175°C) for 7 to 9 minutes.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the bombs from the air fryer and let them rest on a wire rack for a few minutes.
- Serve your Air Fryer Apple Pie Bombs warm, optionally topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
