For the Mushroom Caps
  • 16 caps Mushroom Caps (button mushrooms) cleaned and stems removed

For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese swap with your preferred melting cheese
  • 4 slices Bacon opt for turkey bacon for lighter version
  • 1 cup Grape Tomatoes small cherry tomatoes work as alternative
  • to taste Pickles for classic cheeseburger crunch

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by greasing it.
  2. Combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, yellow mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Form the beef mixture into small patties that will fit in the mushroom caps.
  4. Clean the mushroom caps and remove stems. Drizzle olive oil over them and arrange on the baking sheet.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with a formed beef patty, pressing down to adhere well.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the beef is cooked and mushrooms are soft.
  7. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each mushroom and return to oven for 5-10 minutes to melt.
  8. Garnish with crumbled bacon, grape tomatoes, and pickle slices before serving.

Notes
