Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
  2. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, chili pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Allow to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Rinse and trim the asparagus, then place it on one side of the baking sheet, lightly sprinkling with salt and pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, hot sauce, chicken broth, and lemon juice.
  5. Arrange the marinated chicken bites beside the asparagus on the baking sheet, then drizzle the prepared sauce over both.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and reaches 165°F (75°C), and the asparagus is slightly crisp.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices, and serve warm.
