Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized chunks and season with salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika, chili pepper flakes, and Italian seasoning. Allow to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse and trim the asparagus, then place it on one side of the baking sheet, lightly sprinkling with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, hot sauce, chicken broth, and lemon juice.
- Arrange the marinated chicken bites beside the asparagus on the baking sheet, then drizzle the prepared sauce over both.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is golden brown and reaches 165°F (75°C), and the asparagus is slightly crisp.
- Remove from oven, garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices, and serve warm.
