  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the drained and rinsed black beans evenly on a baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes to dry out slightly.
  2. In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely diced bell pepper, onion, and minced garlic, sautéing for 6-7 minutes.
