Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking oil.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground pork sausage over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until browned. Transfer to the baking dish.
  3. Add butter to the skillet, melt, then whisk in flour, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened, about 5-8 minutes.
  5. Pour the gravy over the sausage in the baking dish and stir gently to combine.
  6. Cut refrigerated biscuits into quarters and scatter over the gravy, slightly submerged.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and gravy is bubbling.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
