Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine fresh blackberries and aromatic basil leaves. Muddle gently for about 15 to 20 seconds.
  2. Pour in honey or maple syrup and freshly squeezed lime juice. Fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  3. Seal the shaker tightly and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until well blended.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a tall glass to avoid seeds and leftover basil.
  5. Top off with sparkling water and stir gently to combine without losing fizz.
  6. Garnish with extra blackberries and a few basil leaves. Serve immediately.
