Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Beef: Slice your beef into thin strips, about ⅛ to ¼ inch thick.
  2. Marinate: Combine soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and gochujang in a bowl, add beef and coat well.
  3. Preheat Smoker: Heat your smoker to 160°F (71°C) using wood pellets.
  4. Arrange for Drying: Lay marinated beef strips on smoker racks in a single layer.
  5. Smoke the Beef: Smoke for about 3 hours until dry yet slightly pliable.
  6. Cool and Store: Let jerky cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
