Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather all your ingredients and equipment.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt. Sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Introduce the chopped cauliflower and broccoli to the skillet, sauté for 5–7 minutes until they begin to soften.
  5. Reduce heat to low, stir in the heavy cream, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and nutmeg. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and stir continuously until melted, about 2 minutes.
  7. Gently fold in the cooked sausage into the veggie and cheese mixture.
  8. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, sprinkle grated Parmesan and bread crumbs on top.
  9. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  10. Remove from oven, let it rest for 5 minutes, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
