Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine well-drained canned tuna, mayonnaise, and herbs. Stir until creamy and uniform.
  2. Place a skillet over medium-low heat and add butter, melting it to coat the bottom of the pan.
  3. Lay out your slices of bread and spread the creamy tuna mixture between two slices. Optionally, add sliced cheese on top.
  4. Cook the sandwiches for about 4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and toast the other side for another 4 minutes.
  5. Add a slice of cheese on top of each sandwich, cover with a lid, and let steam for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
