Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  3. Combine the unsalted butter and brown sugar in a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until boiling. Let it simmer for one minute.
  4. Pour the toffee mixture over the arranged saltine crackers and spread evenly. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly and slightly darkened.
  5. Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot toffee and allow to melt before spreading evenly.
  6. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle over the melted chocolate.
  7. Sprinkle sea salt lightly over the chocolate and cinnamon-sugar layer.
  8. Let the toffee cool completely at room temperature before breaking into pieces.
