- Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until frothy.
- Add 3-4 minced garlic cloves and 8 ounces of sliced baby bella mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for 5-6 minutes until tender and golden.
- Remove from heat, stir in 4 ounces of cream cheese and 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Optionally add fresh parsley.
- Return to low heat and stir gently for 4-5 minutes to warm through.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with reserved parsley. Serve warm.
