Step-by-Step Instructions for Philly Cheesesteak Dip
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté diced onions until caramelized for 5-7 minutes. Add chopped green bell peppers and sauté for another 3-4 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream, then beat until smooth. Gradually mix in shredded mozzarella and provolone cheese.
  4. Fold in sautéed vegetables and chopped roast beef. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Optionally sprinkle reserved sautéed veggies on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15-18 minutes, removing the foil for the last 2-3 minutes to brown the top.
