- In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add 1 chopped onion, 3 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger. Sauté the mixture for about 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
