- Cube 2-3 pounds of steak, season with salt and pepper. Mince 3 cloves of garlic and chop ⅓ of an onion.

- Place the steak in the crockpot with garlic and onion. Add ¾ cup of beef broth and 2 tablespoons of butter. Mix well.

- Cook on low for 5-8 hours, stirring halfway through.

- Remove steak, broil in a pan with remaining butter for 3-5 minutes until crispy. Return to crockpot and mix.

- Serve over creamy mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
