Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Melt the cold butter in a skillet over medium heat. Mix in flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until crumbly, and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and dark brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg, concentrated apple juice, and a splash of vanilla extract to the mixture, mixing gently.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and spices.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in diced apples and portion the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers look soft.
  9. Cool cookies on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. While cooling, beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and caramel sauce until fluffy.
