Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before decorating.
  4. Make the frosting by beating the American buttercream until smooth and spread it on top of each cupcake.
  5. Roll the sides of each frosted cupcake in colored sprinkles for a textured border.
  6. Pipe the chocolate buttercream into a nest shape on top of the green frosting.
  7. Decorate each chick candy with eyes and beaks using edible markers.
