Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions and mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Prepare the peanut butter filling by whisking together peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, and whole milk.
  5. Once the cake has cooled for 10 minutes, poke holes throughout the cake.
  6. Pour the peanut butter filling over the warm cake, allowing it to soak in.
  7. In a chilled bowl, beat heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form, then fold in peanut butter.
  8. Spread the whipped topping over the cooled cake.
