Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x5 inch loaf pan with grease or parchment.
- Combine chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl and mix until smooth.
- Fold in the well-drained grated zucchini into the batter.
- Stir in chocolate chips, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in preheated oven for 45–55 minutes and check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, slice and serve.
