Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a separate bowl, beat together the softened unsalted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  4. Roll the chilled mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill again for 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, tapping off excess chocolate, and return to the baking sheet. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
