  • 1 cup heavy cream Light cream can be used for lower fat option.
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced fresh garlic is recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Yellow mustard can be used if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice Freshly squeezed preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons shallots Finely chopped; green onions can substitute.

For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley Chopped.
  • 2 slices lemon

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Place the fish fillets in a baking dish and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, cream, garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Microwave in two 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce over the fish fillets, ensuring they are evenly covered. Sprinkle the chopped shallots over the top.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Let cool for a minute, then serve garnished with fresh parsley and lemon slices.
