Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Banana Sushi
  1. Begin by peeling your ripe bananas. For easy handling, insert a toothpick into each end of the banana, making sure it’s firmly in place.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, break your high-quality dark chocolate into smaller pieces. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Hold each banana by the toothpick and dip it into the melted dark chocolate. Swirl to ensure it is thoroughly coated.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, generously sprinkle the chopped pistachios over the chocolate-covered bananas.
  5. Place the baking sheet with your decorated banana sushi in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove the banana sushi from the freezer and carefully take out the toothpicks. Slice the chocolate-covered bananas into bite-sized pieces.
