Instructions
  1. Begin by rinsing the fresh broccoli florets under cold water. Pat them dry with a clean towel, then cut the florets into bite-sized pieces. Transfer the chopped broccoli into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Core a crisp apple and chop it into small pieces. Add the diced apple immediately to the bowl with the broccoli.
  3. Shred fresh carrots finely and add them to the mixing bowl along with raisins or dried cranberries and sunflower seeds. Gently mix all ingredients together.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt or mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour the creamy dressing over the salad mix, gently folding all ingredients together until evenly coated.
  6. Finely chop red onion and sprinkle it over the salad mix. Toss everything once more to distribute the onion.
