  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Crab Meat check for shells
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese shredded
  • 4 slices Bacon diced
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach packed
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Seasoning Salt
For the Mushrooms
  • 12 caps Baby Portobello Mushroom or white mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil for sautéing

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook diced bacon until crispy and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  5. Fold crab meat into the skillet along with bacon, Old Bay seasoning, onion powder, and seasoning salt.
  6. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, then add crab mixture and Parmesan cheese until combined.
  7. Prepare mushroom caps by wiping with a damp cloth and removing stems if necessary.
  8. Stuff each mushroom cap with about 1-1.5 tablespoons of crab filling.
  9. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top of filled mushrooms.
  10. Bake stuffed mushrooms in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  11. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
