Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir together plum jam and cinnamon in another bowl until thoroughly combined, about 1 minute.
- Roll out the gluten-free puff pastry into 6 rectangles or rounds, about 1/4 inch thick. Poke holes in each piece with a fork.
- Spoon cream cheese filling into the center of each pastry, leaving space around the edges.
- Place the pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes until edges are golden.
- Carefully spoon jam filling onto each danish and swirl gently.
- Return pastries to oven and bake for an additional 4-6 minutes until tops are golden brown.
- Remove danishes from the oven and let cool on a wire rack for a few minutes.
