Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the cabbage into thick ½ inch rounds and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine your chosen ground meat, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Optionally add the egg and mix well.
  4. Form the mixture into patties and place them on the cabbage slices on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 25 minutes, aiming for an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  6. If using cheese, sprinkle it on top of the patties and broil for an additional 3 to 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
