For the Sauce

For the Cheese Mixture

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by spraying it with cooking spray.
  2. Boil lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until onion is soft.
  4. Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, sugar, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, eggs, and two-thirds of the mozzarella and Parmesan. Mix well.
  7. Layer in the baking dish: spread meat sauce on the bottom, add noodles, then half of the cheese mixture. Repeat layers and finish with sauce and remaining cheese.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and broil on high for 5 minutes.
  9. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving.
