Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Divide the dough into four equal pieces, roll each into a log about 6 inches long, and shape into bagels.
  4. Whisk together one egg with 1 tablespoon of water to create an egg wash. Coat each bagel with the wash using a pastry brush.
