For the Frosting
  • 2 cups Icing Sugar Powdered sugar is a great substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Milk (for frosting) Swap with heavy cream for a richer texture.
  • 1 tbsp Food Coloring (green) Omit if you prefer a classic look.
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder Opt for Dutch-processed cocoa to enhance richness.

Method
 

Cupcake Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with colorful cupcake liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the cupcake ingredients using an electric mixer until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Carefully fill the cupcake liners about 3/4 full with the batter and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Once baked, cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Make the frosting by beating together the softened butter, icing sugar, milk, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  6. Divide the frosting; tint one half green and mix cocoa powder into the other half for a chocolate frosting.
  7. Pipe the green frosting at the base of each cupcake for grass and swirl on the chocolate frosting, then top with Cadbury mini eggs.
