Preparation

- Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 15 minutes.
- In a pot, boil salted water and add chopped russet potatoes, cooking for 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot, keeping them warm.
- Mash the potatoes with milk, unsalted butter, and smoked gouda cheese until creamy.
- Place marinated chicken thighs skin-side up in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Serve the chicken alongside the smoked gouda mashed potatoes and drizzle with pan juices.
