Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Finely chop the onion and green bell pepper, and mince the garlic. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, bell pepper, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, thyme, and oregano. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Transfer to a greased loaf pan or shape into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Mix glaze ingredients: ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, mustard in a small bowl. Reserve half for basting later.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush meatloaf with remaining glaze and bake for one hour, basting halfway through.
  6. Check internal temperature with a meat thermometer, it should reach 160°F (70°C).
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
