- Sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over half of the tortilla, add layers of deli ham or bacon, fold, and press down gently.
- Cook the filled quesadilla for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy and golden brown.
- In the same skillet, add another pat of butter, crack in the egg, and fry for 2-3 minutes until the whites are set.
- Cut the cooked quesadilla into quarters, place the fried egg on top, and garnish with cilantro and salsa or hot sauce.
