  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs Can substitute with regular breadcrumbs or rolled oats

  • 2 large Large Eggs Essential for binding

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add 1 chopped onion and sauté for 5 minutes, then add 3 minced garlic cloves.
  3. In a bowl, combine 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs with 0.5 cup of whole milk. Allow to sit for 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, sautéed onion-garlic mixture, 2 eggs, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper. Add the panade and mix gently.
  5. Shape the mixture into a rectangular loaf about 8x4 inches on the baking sheet.
  6. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a saucepan and stir in brown sugar, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce to make the glaze.
  7. Brush half of the glaze on top of the meatloaf and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, brush with remaining glaze, and continue baking for an additional 20-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
