Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer seven sheets of phyllo dough in the baking dish, brushing each layer with melted butter.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together semolina flour, eggs, granulated sugar until smooth. Gradually add milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Pour the filling over the phyllo base and spread evenly.
- Cover the filling with remaining phyllo sheets, brushing each with melted butter and scoring the top.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with honey and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Slice into squares or rectangles and serve.
