Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your barbecue to medium heat, around 375°F to 400°F. Score the top of the brie wheel in a crisscross pattern and rub 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar on top.
  2. Place a cast iron pan on the grill, then add 2 teaspoons of olive oil. Toss in the mixed fresh berries with 2 teaspoons of balsamic vinegar and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Nestle the scored brie alongside the sautéed berries in the cast iron pan. Close the grill lid and cook for about 5 to 6 minutes until the brie is bubbly and golden brown.
  4. Remove from the grill and drizzle 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey over the warm brie and berries, then scatter fresh basil leaves on top before serving.
