Ingredients

For the Corn
  • 6 ears fresh corn Choose sweet, high-quality corn to maximize flavor.
For the Cilantro-Lime Butter
  • 1 stick unsalted butter Let this sit at room temperature for easy blending.
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves Finely minced; can substitute with flat-leaf parsley if desired.
  • 2 limes zest and juice Enhances flavor with bright, tangy notes; lemon juice works as an alternative.
  • 1 clove garlic Grated; garlic powder is a quick substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt Essential for flavor enhancement; sea salt is a great substitute.
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper A hint of spice complements the sweetness of the corn.

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Heavy-Duty Foil
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, aiming for a temperature between 375°F and 400°F.
  2. Cut heavy-duty foil into squares large enough to wrap each ear of corn completely.
  3. Place each ear of corn on a piece of foil and wrap it tightly, ensuring it’s completely enclosed.
  4. In a bowl, combine butter, lime juice, lime zest, cilantro, garlic, salt, and pepper; blend until smooth.
  5. Generously spread the cilantro-lime butter mixture over each ear of corn.
  6. Fold the foil around the corn securely to trap steam while grilling.
  7. Place the foil-wrapped corn on the grill, cooking for about 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Carefully remove the corn from the grill, unwrap, and serve immediately with any remaining butter drizzle.
