  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can be used
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Fresh onion can be sautéed before adding to meat
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika Regular paprika can be substituted
For the Toppings
  • 4 slices Cheddar Cheese Swap for Swiss or pepper jack

For the Dressing
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can substitute for health
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard Yellow mustard can be used
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup Opt for a sugar-free version if desired
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Any neutral oil can also be used
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice Apple cider vinegar can be replaced

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (204°C), and clean the grates thoroughly.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix gently and shape into four patties.
  3. Grill the patties for 4–5 minutes on one side, flip and grill for an additional 4–5 minutes, placing a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute.
  4. In another bowl, combine mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, avocado, and dill pickles. Toss gently.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, ketchup, olive oil, and lemon juice until creamy.
  6. Allow the patties to rest for a couple of minutes after grilling.
  7. Divide the salad mixture into four bowls, placing a grilled patty on top of each.
  8. Drizzle the dressing over each bowl and serve immediately.
