Baking Instructions
- Cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and mix until fully incorporated.
- Whisk together the flour, black cocoa, Dutch cocoa, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just incorporated.
- Knead the dough until it holds together and form a disc.
- Roll out the dough and cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for about 10 minutes.
- Prepare the royal icing by beating egg whites and adding powdered sugar.
- Decorate the cooled cookies with the royal icing and allow to dry.
