Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form meatballs around cubes of mozzarella cheese, ensuring they are enclosed.
  4. Heat olive oil in an ovenproof skillet over medium heat and brown meatballs on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, then add chopped onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Sprinkle flour over the onion and garlic mixture, cooking for about 2 minutes to form a roux.
  8. Gradually whisk in beef broth and Guinness, simmering until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
  9. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, return meatballs to the skillet, and coat with gravy.
  10. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  11. Let the meatballs rest for 5-10 minutes before serving, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
