  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sourdough starter

Method
 

Bread Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, water, and sourdough starter until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let it rest at room temperature for 4-12 hours.
  4. Shape the dough and place it in a loaf pan or onto a baking sheet.
  5. Allow the dough to rise for another 1-2 hours.
  6. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  7. Score the dough with a sharp blade and place it in the oven.
  8. Bake for 30-45 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool completely before slicing.
