Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak the raisins in a bowl covered with boiling water for 15 minutes, then drain.
  2. Blend the soaked raisins with molasses, tamarind paste, anchovies, onion, ginger, garlic, and 1 cup of white vinegar until smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan, add the remaining vinegar and spices, and bring to a gentle boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Allow the sauce to cool for 30 minutes, then pour into a sterilized jar and seal.
  5. Strain the sauce using a fine mesh sieve before using, if desired.
