Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 pound Medium Shrimp Fresh or well-thawed frozen for best flavor.
  • ¼ cup Honey Substitute with agave syrup for vegan version.
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice Can substitute with lemon juice.
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder Use smoked paprika for a milder taste.
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic also works.
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin Adjust according to taste.
  • To taste Salt and Pepper Essential for enhancing flavors.
For the Tacos
  • 8 Corn Tortillas Warm them for optimal texture.
  • 2 cups Red Cabbage Shredded for texture and color.
  • 2 medium Avocado Select ripe for extra flavor.
  • 1 bunch Fresh Cilantro Optional garnish for extra flair.
  • 4 Lime Wedges Serve on the side for freshness.

Method
 

Marinating and Cooking
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, and salt and pepper until well combined.
  2. Add medium shrimp to the marinade, tossing gently to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  4. While shrimp cook, warm corn tortillas in another skillet over medium heat or microwave for about 30 seconds.
  5. Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on each tortilla, topping with red cabbage and avocado slices. Sprinkle with cilantro and drizzle extra lime juice.
