  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or any neutral oil
  • 2 stalks Celery
  • 1 medium Red Onion or yellow onion
  • 4 cups Vegetable Stock homemade or low-sodium
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Wine Vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • 1 medium Shallot or more onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic fresh preferred
For the Tomatoes
  • 1 can Italian Style Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes halved
For the Seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
For the Final Touches
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (Parsley & Chives) chopped
  • 2 tails Lobster Tails reserved for final cooking

Step-by-Step Instructions for Slow Cooker Seafood Bisque
  1. Prepare Lobster: Crush the cooked lobster shells and set aside the meat in the refrigerator.
  2. Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add crushed lobster shells, salt, and pepper; sauté celery and red onion.
  3. Simmer Broth: Pour in vegetable stock, simmer for 15-20 minutes, strain broth into slow cooker.
  4. Enhance Broth: Melt butter, add rice wine vinegar, garlic, and shallot; sauté and add to the broth.
  5. Add Ingredients: Mix in Italian style tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, seasonings, and cook on low for 5 hours.
  6. Finish Cooking: Fold in lobster tails in the last 30 minutes, then chop and return meat to the bisque.
  7. Combine and Blend: Add crab meat, blend with an immersion blender, and stir in heavy cream and herbs.
