  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract, and beat until smooth. Gently fold in diced apples and spices.
  3. Spoon a generous amount of the filling into the center of each piece of dough, then fold or roll to enclose it.
  4. Mix flour and brown sugar, then cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble mixture over each filled bun.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to make a smooth glaze.
