Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans with unsalted butter and dust with all-purpose flour.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Cream room temperature butter with sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed for about 3-4 minutes until light and fluffy.
