Step-by-Step Instructions for Garlic Butter Bread Rolls
  1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar in 1 cup of warm water. Allow to sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate large bowl, combine 3 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. Pour in the yeast mixture along with 4 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. Punch the dough down and divide into equal portions, shaping each into a round roll. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Cover rolls with a towel and let rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
