Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Peel, pit, and slice peaches into a large bowl. Toss with sugars, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in milk to form soft dough.
  3. Spread peach mixture into a greased baking dish. Drop dollops of biscuit dough over top. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
