Preparation Steps
- In a mixing bowl, pour 2 cups of fresh heavy cream and beat on medium speed until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
- Gather your favorite ice cream sandwiches, about 6-8, and soften them for 5-10 minutes. Line your loaf pan with plastic wrap.
- Layer one ice cream sandwich in the loaf pan, spread whipped cream over it, alternating layers until filled.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Melt 1/2 cup of dark chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Stir in 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
- Lift out the semifreddo from the pan, slice, and drizzle with the cinnamon-chocolate mixture before serving.
