  3. Gradually add in ½ cup of light brown sugar and ½ cup of granulated sugar, mixing until fluffy.
  4. Incorporate 2 large eggs one at a time, followed by 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  5. Fold the flour mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips, then chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Roll the dough into 2-tablespoon-sized balls and place them on the prepared sheets.
