Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp with jerk seasoning and olive oil. Toss well and let sit for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add rice and salt, then cover and simmer for about 15 minutes. Stir in basil after cooking.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. In a serving bowl, mix rice, cooked shrimp, and pineapple together gently.
  5. Serve garnished with fresh basil leaves and enjoy.
