Ingredients
  

For the Patties
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or ground turkey
  • 2 cups Fresh Baby Spinach or frozen, drained
  • 1 cup Feta Cheese crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes dry-packaged
  • 1 large Egg or flax egg for vegan
  • 1 tsp Table Salt
For Serving
  • 4 pieces Sandwich Buns or low-carb buns
  • Toppings (optional) fresh spinach, sliced tomato, sliced shallot, tzatziki sauce

Method
 

Burger Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, fresh baby spinach, crumbled feta cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, egg, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well incorporated and shape into four patties.
  2. Cover the patties with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Cooking & Serving
  1. Preheat a skillet or grill over medium heat. Brush the cut sides of sandwich buns with olive oil and toast for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Increase heat to medium-high, add oil if needed, and cook patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  3. Assemble the burgers on toasted buns with your choice of toppings and serve immediately.
